First Haircut

 Loving the slide while waiting
Excited to sit in the tractor (the plane was out-of-order)
 Getting combed
Getting sprayed and combed some more...
 ...and hair put up
Finished product...4 inches off

I had tears in my eyes when she cut the curls off, but as J said "eventually it will need to be cut." As I've been staring at her hair this afternoon, I've noticed that there are two nice curls that frame her face, so it's all good...makes her look a bit more like a "big girl." Perhaps that will help us in a few areas. (a-hem)

Proud Mama

At the 6 mo. mark, I predicted EH would sit up the week of the 17th...what a mama! Although, last night I was second-guessing myself....we decided to try it after dinner and here he is. Don't miss the drool in photo two!

More Summer Fun

For July 4, we made a super-quick driving trip to Alabama to visit J's mom. One day we toured the town's destruction from the April tornado. Below is a pic of my old apartments....I used to live in the top left one. The entire neighborhood was destroyed.  Such sadness...

Great cookout at Auntie B's house!

Grandma's Little Firecracker (that smile and standstill were a BRIBE!)

Hanging out in the plane (no flight)

We're having a busy July. Doctor's appts, playdates, grocery shopping, an Ant Class at the Park, a Painting Class at the Park, trip to the Bounce House, practices at church, playing outside, and first movies (next week...we'll see how it goes)!

The Rest of June

As usual, it's been far too long since I have blogged. All the funnies I stored away are lost, but I will shake my head and try to bring them up...
