On the move, part II

Thursday, April 30 was Anna's 6 month birthday. She got her third set of immunizations and weighed 15 pounds, 7 ounces. Her head circumference and weight were in between the 25 and 50 percentiles for her age. Her height was off the chart. Literally. The little black dot was in the white space of the growth curves. She is getting so long-legged I am having trouble feeding her my favorite way. Soon she will have to move to her chairs! Fortunately, the weather is warming up, so we don't have to deal with one-piece outfits anymore. Those legs work much better in shorts, skirts, and dresses now. Last week, I had her wearing another of "my 1973" dresses and either she really is tall or they made dresses back then very short!! Ha.

Thanks to an article in a baby magazine, I have now figured out a way to curb my insane picture-taking obsession....."Delete pictures on your camera, BEFORE you upload them to your computer." Well, here it is May 4 and I have successfully saved only 7 pictures and one movie for the "5.09" folder! (You can do the math as to how many I have deleted)

Below is a picture and a video of today's accomplishment. She finally got that head lifted! That was the last piece in the puzzle for her crawling pose. It's so cute....she gets up into this position and then rocks back and forth like she's about to take off! (No doubt, our "advanced Anna" will be crawling VERY soon....

And if that wasn't enough, here's a movie about it. (She's very tired):
