I am extremely behind at this blogging thing, but there were two phrases said by the girl today that need to be documented.

For about the last month, she has phases of book reading...one week it's nothing but "If you give a Mouse a Cookie" and "Hey, Wake Up"... last week it was "Curious George Flies a Kite" (the entire book twice or three times in one sitting)....this week it seems to be "Airplane" and the cheesy "We Can Pray."

Now, before you think I'm being sacrilegious by calling the story "cheesy," I simply refer to it as that because it was a *1978* gift from the Beginner Dept. of my church! It is a perfect little story for a child to explain praying and the different ways one can pray.

So....after her nap, we read this story twice. Then, we proceeded downstairs to put our shoes on to head to church to practice..Hearing her mumble the same thing over and over, I finally realize that she said, "Thank you, God." I bent over and said, "A, did you say "Thank you, God?" And she looked at me with this big grin and said, "uh-huh." Oh, it was the sweetest thing.

Once we get to the church "narthex," she starts saying "Music." She became very impatient while I had my weekly chat with the secretaries..."music! music! music" When we finally left after practice, she waved to the sanctuary and said, "Bye, Music!"

Ah. What a little soul she is. One day I hope to post more summer pictures. One day when I am not so tired. ha ha!
