So, we finally had an event to attend outside of our house. We took Eye of the Storm with us, since I am not yet comfortable leaving him with younger sitters. Tornado enjoyed her one-on-one time with our sitter. (no puns intended for our dear friends in the south....AK earned that nickname way before all the bad weather)
Eye was the youngest attendee and also the quietest. Eye was very proud of him. Interesting to note, though....eye think he missed his sister! They are always hand in hand, side by side and this was his first time "away" from her. What a special bond they are forming. Eye often have tears in my eyes when eye watch them together. She is sooooooooo loving with him...hugs, kisses, "playing doctor", bringing toys, books, saying goodnight. (This paragraph IS meant as a fun pun to my dad because one year the letter "I" quit working on his typewriter and all his letters to me included the word "eye" as a substitute. :) )
Poor Eye, tooth...I mean, too. He has been "teething" since about month 3 and there must be some suckers ready to pop....He was a mess when we got home. I feel SO bad for him because he is such a "good" baby...He cried so much tonight--with real tears and one chubby hand shoved in that little mouth. Finally got him fed, soother and sleeping. Hope tomorrow is better. Tomorrow we are having a Cereal for Lunch party, as it will be his first taste! Stay tuned.
