Squid, Music Boxes, and the headless mama

Here it is already February. The Mott Tot officially turned 3 months old last Thursday! She is talking up a storm--more than the usual coo and gurgle. She has gotten so "chatty" that we are considering the nursery at church so J can enjoy a church service. She leaves messages on the answering machines of her grandparents. You never know when "eeAhhhh Ohooo" might show up on your phone!

In early January when we were over at the neighbor's for dinner, their little girl showed AK a music box. That gave me the greatest idea to show all mine to her, too. Here she is really loving that piano go 'round and 'round!

In addition to her talking, her smiling has increased severalfold! We found that her favorite words right now begin with "L" and "Squ"....so we say "La, la, la" and "Squid, squirm, squeeze, squint, and squirrel" to get her going!

Yesterday for the Superbowl, we dressed her in this precious little dress with horses on it (in honor of our Colts who were not participants this year). The headless mama picture shows her length--24 inches now! She had quite a night at the neighbor's house with 6 boys and 2 other girls--doting, kissing, and playing ball with her! :)
