A few words about B, our nurse: Anyone delivering in our hospital is very lucky...the nurses are with you around the clock...by that I mean, they are in the patient's room the entire time, 24 hours...they don't even leave to go to the bathroom...ok, maybe they do, but who would notice under those circumstances...ANYWAY, B was observing as part of her training in nursing school. Her shift was over at 12pm, but she had never witnessed a delivery and so asked us if she could stay. (She herself had just become a mama 3 months prior!) I don't know who was more excited--she or I! Anyway, this is another BIG THANKS to her for all she did--she was my ice-chip hero, my fanner, and she took some great pictures, among other things. Without further ado, here are the pictures:
