Yesterday afternoon, I tried to work the record player. Yes, I grew up with a record player, but not J's and didn't want to break the antique that it is. Turns out it was as simple as just lifting the needle up vs. out. Duh. Well, it's been a few years. Anyway, I wanted to play for AK "Ernie's Hits." His life-size photo on the record jacket got me a great smile in the afternoon, so I wanted to make sure I played "rubber ducky" before she went to bed. Another moment of extreme alertness. 11:35. Yep, still PM. Oh, that reminds me, AK has figured out how to kick off the end of the bathtub...perhaps she will be the next Michaela Mott Phelps?

Our Gold Medal
Here is our anniversary picture. It was taken at 11:29. PM! (J works late) Note the alertness of our child. Oh, that alertness carried on into the wee hours of the morning. Sure, she sleeps through the night. Random nights! HA.
Just in case anyone feels overwhelmingly tempted to suggest that we put our child to bed earlier--this picture was taken at 11:21. PM. HA. :) In defense of Her Tinyness, she was having a bit of an "off-day," spitting up a lot and just being plain "blah." Must have been the excitement of the morning balloon.
