Ode to My Husband

The title would suggest this post might be a poem, but instead it is a THANK YOU to J for the great poem he wrote me on the card he gave me today-- our third wedding anniversary! With such celebration also came beautiful roses, chocolates, and a balloon. And yes, we also celebrate by the "substance" and this year it is "leather." We open those gifts later, as we already know what they are. (nope, nothing racy, but J's could be. Ha ha. I'll leave you to wonder)

J follows in his father's footsteps with the romance of flowers. Every year, Harold always got B a dozen reds for her birthday. John gets yellow since we had yellow for our wedding....The choice stems from "The Yellow Rose of Texas" and is my second favorite color!

The balloon, no doubt, gave us some priceless memories. Here AK meets the balloon:

You can see she is tickled pink, or purple...

The balloon and AK in action. Enjoy...

Happy Anniversary! ( and way to go, John!) We are laughing because we sang Yellow Rose of Texas all the way to San Antonio on our big road trip last summer. Love the blog. -Ryan
